Non-Destructive Testing – tests the safety of structures and vehicles such as aircraft, trains, nuclear reactors, bridges, dams, and pipelines. They use a variety of NDT testing mechanisms such as acoustic emission, electromagnetic, leak, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, neutron radiographic, radiographic, thermal or infrared, ultrasonic, vibration analysis, and visual tests. They must interpret, evaluate, and document results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures.

Course Description
This course is currently being developed and will be offered as part of our core curriculum for our commercial diver program. This course will cover the most common nondestructive tests used in the commercial diving industry: visual testing (VT), and ultrasonic testing (UT).
