Course Description

This course provides knowledge and skills in First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, emergency action plans, neurological assessments, Oxygen Administration and First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, and bandaging and wound management. All training meets or exceeds the latest International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) standards, aha guidelines and the osha first aid and cpr requirements of 29 cfr 1910.151. In addition to meeting Coast Guard requirements for a US Captain’s Licensing. Certification at the professional rescuer level is also required for all active NAUI leaders and instructors and rescue divers. With dan diving first aid training, you are not only among the best trained divers in the world, you will also be among the best prepared to respond in the unlikely event of a diving emergency or accident.
